Tracks are the main building blocks of GarageBand. To work effectively with GarageBand, you should know how to manipulate them and the elements inside them.

RENAMING REGIONS

The main element of a track is called a region. A region is a portion of track. It stretches from one measure to another in the track. You can have many regions in a track or only one.

In the previous figures, we have created two regions, one in the Drum Kit track and one in the Electric Bass track.
