In this chapter, I explored the use of SSL certificates in Mac OS X Server, which provides additional certificate-related tools not found in the standard version of Mac OS X. I explained how to request a proper certificate from a certificate authority — or, if that's more than you need, how to create your own self-signed certificate or even your own certificate authority.
