Configuring Safari Preferences

The default web browser for Mac OS X is the excellent Safari application, one of the best browsers around, which may be why most Mac users stick with Safari rather than switching to a third-party browser such as Firefox. This chapter shows you how to browse the Web using Safari, but let’s first take a tour of Safari’s most useful preferences so that you can get it set up the way you want before heading out on the Web.
