I’m going to assume you want to minimize the amount of time you spend working with files and folders in Mac OS X (because you have more important or interesting or fun things to do with your Mac). To that end, it helps to familiarize yourself with the standard Mac OS X folders, so you can navigate your Mac quickly and efficiently.
