Until Lion came along, Mail had a To Do–list feature. In fact, it accessed the same To Do list as iCal, so the same task list showed up in both programs.
There’s a new heading in Lion Mail called Reminders, but don’t be fooled; the To Do feature is no longer part of Mail. Apparently, you can’t have everything.
