About the Authors

John Rizzo has been writing about computers for over 20 years. His work has appeared in Macworld, Infoworld, CNET, PC Magazine, eWeek the San Francisco Chronicle, and other publications. He's a former columnist for MacUser, MacWeek, and Computer Currents.

John is the author of a dozen books, including Snow Leopard Server For Dummies (John Wiley & Sons), Mac Mini Hacks & Mods For Dummies (John Wiley & Sons), Moving to Windows Vista (PeachPit), and Mac Annoyances (O'Reilly). He's also written several books on Mac-and-Windows cross-platform networking and other topics on Mac and Windows hardware and software.

John publishes the website MacWindows.com, which has, since 1997, has been the web's largest news and information resource devoted to helping Mac users get along in a Windows world.

John is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the San Francisco Community College District, where he promotes the use of technology to improve student learning.
