Chapter 1. Window Wonderland: Cool Window Tips

I have to be honest with you. I have some major concerns about the subhead for this chapter: “Cool Window Tips.” My fear is that you might give it a quick glance and accidentally read it as “Cool Windows Tips” which this chapter, in a Mac OS X book, clearly is not. In fact, this couldn’t be a chapter on Microsoft Windows, primarily because I don’t know Windows. Well, I know where the Start menu is, and I can launch an application (if it’s fairly easy to find), but that’s as much as I’m willing to admit (at least without a Congressional subpoena). Besides, how could there be anything cool about Windows? So what is this chapter really about? I was hoping you would know. Hmmmm. This is kind of embarrassing. ...
