Summary
In this chapter we looked at using NetInfo Manager to manage the NetInfo database. We customized users by editing the NetInfo database, and explored the idea of using a skeleton user account to add users via NetInfo command line utilities. We also saw that the NetInfo database also stores information on sharing NFS resources. We learned how to set up our Tiger machine to either subscribe to an NFS resource and/or to serve a resource via NFS.
