mDNSResponder [-d]
Description
The server for Rendezvous multicast DNS (mDNS).
mDNSResponder is started by the
mDNSResponder startup item, creates a PID file
in /var/run/, and responds to TERM and INT
signals by quitting cleanly.
Options/Usage
- -d
Runs in debug mode, preventing daemonization, although it doesn’t appear to be particularly useful in this state.
