Synopsis
pwd [option]Display the current working directory’s absolute pathname. By default, any symbolic directories used when reaching the current directory are displayed, but with -P, or if the -o option to the set built-in is set, the real names are displayed instead.
Options
- -L
Include any symbolic links in the pathname.
- -P
Don’t include symbolic links in the pathname.
