Pause and Resume Speaking
Sometimes the speaking voice can make you nuts, or you want it to stop for a moment while you do something. You can pause the voice.
To pause VoiceOver in the middle of speaking something, tap Control.
If you move the VoiceOver cursor (explained on the following page) after you pause, it will automatically begin speaking again.
To continue VoiceOver after you have paused, tap Control again.
To repeat the last spoken phrase, press Control Option Z.
