Remove Widgets from Your Dashboard
You can only remove widgets from the Dashboard when the Widget Bar is visible. So first display the Widget Bar: Single-click the plus sign shown above.
Now you will see an X in the upper-left corner of each widget. To remove a widget, click that X. It will stay in your Widget Bar until you want it again.
