Spotlight in the Finder
There are two ways to use Spotlight in the Finder, both of which use your Finder window. You can do a quick search by simply typing in the search field. Or press Command F to get a more specific search window with options to narrow your search. Use the Finder Spotlight when you want to limit your search to certain disks, folders, or parameters.
