Access Your Data Online
A side benefit of syncing your data to your .Mac account is that then it's all available online. Your .Mac email, including any Smart Mailboxes and signatures you've created, is set up so you can access it online anywhere in the world. You can also get to your Address Book contacts and your Safari bookmarks. You can do this on a Mac or a PC in Internet cafes from Atlanta to Zimbabwe. Or of course on your own traveling laptop.
To access your email online, go to www.mac.com. Click the “Mail” tab in the blue bar. It will ask you to log in. Do so, and there's your mail.
