Reset Sync Data

If things get a little mixed up or you accidentally uploaded the wrong data to your .Mac account, you can sort of start over. Read all of these directions before you start so you know where you're going with it.

1.
Open the .Mac preferences, then click the “Sync” tab.

Put checkmarks in the items you want to clean up.

Click the “Advanced” tab (as shown on the opposite page).

Choose a registered computer that you want to clean up or one whose data you want to send to your .Mac account to replace the existing data.
5.
Click “Reset Sync Data….” In the sheet that drops down, shown below, choose what you want to replace from the “Replace” menu, and choose in which direction you want it replaced. Click “Replace.”
