To limit applications and activities
1. | Make sure the user is logged out, then open the “Accounts” preferences. |
2. | If the lock icon in the bottom-left corner is locked, single-click on it and enter the Admin name and password. Click OK. |
3. | Select the user in the left-hand pane, then click the “Parental Controls” tab. |
4. | Put a check in the box next to “Finder.app & System,” then click its “Configure…” button. The pane shown below drops down. |
5. | Check the button, “Some Limits.” Now use this pane to limit or provide access to the various parts of the Mac. |
