To limit email, iChat, and Safari web browsing

1.
Make sure that the user is not logged in. If he is, log him out.
2.
Go to the Apple menu and choose “System Preferences….” Single-click on the “Accounts” icon.
3.
If the lock icon in the bottom-left corner is locked, single-click on it and enter the Admin name and password. Click OK.
4.
Select the user in the left-hand pane (if you haven't made a user yet, see pages 238243 to set one up).
5.
Single-click the “Parental Controls” tab.
6.
Put a check next to the application that you want to limit. Then click the “Configure…” button to choose email addresses, iChat buddy names, ...
