To change permissions on a file or folder
1. | Single-click on a file or folder to select it. |
2. | Press Command I to display the Get Info window, as shown below. |
3. | Click the disclosure triangle next to “Ownership & Permissions.” |
4. | Click the little menu next to “Others” to change the permissions. |
5. | When you're finished, just close the Get Info window. |
Documents and folders have different sorts of permissions available.
