To check the priority of an incoming message
If the Flag column is visible in Mail, you will see two exclamation marks to denote a message that has been labeled High Priority. A dash indicates the message is Low Priority. (One exclamation point means the message is Normal Priority, but you won't see any symbol for this kind of message.)
