Choose file extensions and turn off the Trash warning
1. | From the Finder menu, choose “Preferences….” Click the “Advanced” icon.

2. | File extensions are those three- or four-letter abbreviations at the ends of file names; see page 408. |
3. | If that warning you see whenever you empty the Trash makes you crazy, turn it off here. |
