Install fonts
You can use the step above to install fonts. You can also:
1. | Open Font Book (it's in your Applications folder). |
2. | In the Collection pane, single-click on “User” (if you want the fonts available only to you as the user) or “Computer” (if you want the fonts available to every user of this particular computer). |
3. | Go to the File menu and choose “Add Fonts….” |
4. | Find the font you want to install and double-click it. Font Book moves the font from its enclosing folder and puts it in the Library Fonts folder. You might have to quit and re-open your application before the fonts appear in the application Font menu.
The default location for installing fonts is determined in the Font Book preferences. |
