Video chat
See other people on your screen while you talk (not type) with them. Make sure you have a video camera attached. Your Buddies will display little video camera icons next to their pictures if they are able to video chat back to you.
To video chat, single-click on a Buddy name, then click the video camera icon at the bottom of the Buddy List.
If your Buddy doesn't have a camera with which to video chat with you, select her name, then go to the Buddies menu and choose, “Invite to One-Way Video Chat.” Your friend will see you, but will have to send instant messages back.
