Create a Buddy List

To iChat with people, first set up a Buddy List of names.

1.	If you don't see the Buddy List when you open iChat, go to the Window menu and choose “Buddy List.” If the title bar of the Buddy List says you are “Offline,” click on the tiny triangle and choose “Available.”
2.	To add a new Buddy, single-click the + sign at the bottom of the list and choose “Add Buddy.”
3.	In the dialog box that appears, either choose someone in your Address Book whose screen name you have already entered. That person is now in your Buddy List and you can skip the rest of these steps. Or choose someone in the Address Book whose screen name you have not entered yet. Or click “New Person.”
