Experiment with the Colors Panel to discover the possibilities

  • Click one of the icons across the top of the panel to choose a color mode.
  • Click the magnifying glass and your pointer turns into a magnifying glass. Drag it around the screen and when you find a color you want to “pick up,” click on it and that color is added to the panel.
  • In the “Color Wheel” mode, drag the dot around the circle to choose a color, and drag the slider up and down to change the tone.
  • In the “Color Palettes” mode, shown below-left, use the List menu to choose “New.” Use the Color menu at the bottom to create new colors.
