Mail is integrated with
Address Book: Click the “Address” icon to bring up a minimalized Address Panel.
iChat: A green dot in a column in your Viewer window indicates an iChat Buddy is online and available. If you don't see that column, go to the View menu, select “Column,” then choose “Buddy Availability.”
Mail: Image attachments can be saved directly into iPhoto. See page 190.
iCal: Email announcements to all attendees of an event.
Mac sync: Synchronize your .Mac email account with the .Mac mail web site so you have access to your mail on any computer in the world.
TextEdit: Click on an email link in TextEdit to open Mail and automatically address the email.
