Enhancing System Security
The Security preferences pane (Figures 59 and 61) offers additional options for enhancing security on your computer. Here’s how you can use them to make your computer more secure.

You must be logged in as an administrator to change Security preferences pane settings.
To set system security options
1. | Choose Apple > System Preferences (Figure 1) or click the System Preferences icon in the Dock.
