Previewing Documents

The Print dialog enables you to create and view previews of your documents. You might want to use this feature to check the appearance of a document before printing it.

To preview a document

Set options as desired in the Print dialog’s panes.

In any pane of the Print dialog (Figure 36), click the Preview button. The Print dialog disappears and Mac OS opens Preview. A moment later, the document appears in a Preview window (Figure 63).

When you’re finished previewing the document, you have three options:
