Chapter 5. Meet Your Macintosh
Much of the remainder of this book is formatted as questions and answers. My goal is to present a tremendous amount of information one morsel at a time, with the hope that it will be less overwhelming than if it were all dropped on you at once. This format will also help you skim the information so you know what’s here and can come back to it later when you need it. At the same time, I’ve tried to make it easy to read the book straight through, if you like.
The questions are collected into broad topic areas, beginning with what happens with you open the box.
