Moving Your Favorites

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows, you’ll be happy to know that it’s also available on the Macintosh (Apple also offers its own fine browser, called Safari). It’s easy to move your Favorites from the PC to the Mac, but it’s not necessarily something I recommend.

Why? Because your Mac browser comes preloaded with a few zillion useful Mac links already (and see Appendix B for a few more). You can find a list of them at www.apple.com/switch/howto/mac/applefavorites.html, where you will also find instructions for adding specific links back into Internet Explorer on your Mac.
