Favorites
Favorites enables you to add frequently used documents, applications, network servers and volumes, and Internet locations to a submenu on the Apple menu. This makes them quick and easy to access.
Tip
Favorites also appear in the Network Browser and the new Open and Save As dialog boxes. I discuss the Network Browser in Chapter 10 and the new Open and Save As dialog boxes in Chapter 5.
Tip
The favorites feature works with aliases, which I discuss on the previous two pages.
Tip
The Mac OS 9 installer puts two items on the Favorites submenu:
apple.com uses the Network Browser to connect to Apple Computer's network.
www.apple.com uses your Web browser to connect to Apple Computer's home page.
