Command-line junkies will like this one: you can make it possible to open a new Terminal window automatically switched to the location you’re viewing in a Finder window. Open System Preferences (Apple menuSystem Preferences), and click the Keyboard icon. Then click the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, and in the list on the left, select Services. In the list on the right, scroll down until you find New Terminal at Folder under the Files and Folders heading. Then put a check mark next to the entry in the list—this will cause the entry to appear on the menu that opens whenever you right-click a folder (although on some systems you might first have to click the Services submenu to see the option).
