Finder offers four separate ways of viewing your files and folders: Icon view, List view, Column view, and Cover Flow. You can switch between them using the icons on Finder’s toolbar (just above the file display area), but a quicker way to do so is to hold down Command and press 1, 2, 3, or 4 for Icon, List, Column, and Cover Flow views, respectively.
