Some word processors include text-summarizing tools that can take salient points from several paragraphs (or even pages) and present them in a single paragraph or series of paragraphs. The summary is often a bit hit-and-miss, but it can be a good place to start if you lack the time to do the full job yourself. Your Mac includes a built-in tool to do this.
