Signing Database Design Elements

Signing is the act of associating an electronic signature with an element. Each database design element, such as a form, view, or agent, is stamped with the electronic signature of the developer who last saved it. Often times, it is necessary to re-sign design elements with a different signature.

The most simple approach to signing a database design element is to open the design element in the Designer client using the Notes ID whose signature you want to stamp on the file. Then simply save the design element; the signature of the current ID will be stamped into the design element.
