Using Images in Applications

Notes/Domino has long supported the use of images in applications through copying and pasting images into a form and importing images into a form. In Domino R5, image resources were added to further extend the use of images in Domino applications, which greatly improves your ability to manipulate and manage images.

An image resource is a graphic that can be displayed throughout an application, from a central location within the database. This saves space and minimizes maintenance because any changes you make to the image are automatically reflected in each place that references the image resource.
