Set Up Full-Text Indexing

A full-text index is a powerful search mechanism that enables users to search for documents based on a search criteria, a certain word, or certain phrases Creating a full-text index of a database speeds searches performed within a database and, optionally, allows for searching attachments and encrypted fields. Users can still search a database that has not been full-text indexed; however, it will take longer for the search to be completed and the results to be returned.

For the exam, remember that you must have Designer access or higher to create, update, or delete a full-text index.
