Agent Server Document Settings
The capabilities of agents and the way that agent security is handled has been significantly updated in Domino/Notes 6. Implemented in R6, agents can now
Access remote servers— Servers who have specifically granted access to one another in the “Trusted Servers” field of the server document can have agents access information on the other server.
Save other agents— Agents can programmatically modify, enable, disable, and save other agents located on the same server.
Allow users with editor access to run LotusScript and Java agents— Agents can be set up to enable users with Editor access to activate agents.
Run on behalf of someone else— Agents can be set to run with the authority of a specified user.
