Using Hide-When Options to Hide Information on Forms

Many Domino design elements such as forms enable you to hide information based on the context in which it is displayed, or to use hide-when formulas to conditionally display information.

Virtually any information on a form can be hidden; just follow the steps below:

1.
Open the form in the Designer.
2.
Select an element on the form that should be hidden.
3.
Choose Text, Text Properties from the menu, which opens the Text properties box.
4.
Click the Hide tab (fifth tab), which displays the hide-when options, shown in Figure 6.12. Each of the options is explained in the following list.
  • Notes 4.6 or later When enabled, hides selected item from Notes client version 4.6 or higher.
  • Web browsers
