The University of New Hampshire's InterOperability Lab (IOL) tests networking products. It provides a home for many vendor consortiums. Each consortium is devoted to a single technology.

The technologies include 100Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet, 100Mbps Token Ring, FDDI, Fibre Channel, 100VG-ANYLAN, virtual LANs (VLANs), bridging, and more. Each consortium member provides platforms representing its equipment and supports the lab's testing activities.
