Chapter 6. FUTURE REFLECTIONS

Let's return to the example of Muhammad Ali, the most famous sportsman in history. It was Ali who coined the phrase "future history" and he offers the best example of what that means. When he burst onto the world boxing scene, he was the first sportsman to make bold predictions about which round he was going to win in. He would confidently declare his chosen route of victory in poetry, such as:

"This boy likes to mix, so he'll fall in 6!"

He went on to make this sort of prediction in 19 of his 61 fights. How many times do you think he was accurate with his prediction of the round he would win in?
