od—dumps files in octal and other formats

oodd  [-abcdfhiloxv] [-s[bytes]] [-w[bytes]] [-A radix] [-j bytes]
   [-N   bytes] [-t   type] [--skip-bytes=bytes]
   [--address-radix=radix] [--read-bytes=bytes] [--format=type]
   [--output-duplicates] [--strings[=bytes]] [--width[=bytes]]
   [--traditional] [--help] [--version] [file…]

od displays filename in one or more formats, as selected by the first argument. If the first argument is missing, -o is default; e.g., the file can be displayed in bytes octal, ASCII, decimal, hex, etc.
