16. Working on the Network

Many of the commands in this chapter are so rich in features and power that they deserve books of their own. I can’t begin to cover all of the awesome stuff you can do with ssh, rsync, wget, and curl, but I can get you started. The best thing to do with these commands is to try them, get comfortable with the basics, and then begin exploring the areas that interest you. There’s enough to keep you busy for a long time, and after you start using your imagination, you’ll discover a world of cool purposes for the programs you’re going to read about in this chapter.
