When planning your network configuration for an efficient and secure configuration, you need to know what network options there are for Linux on the mainframe. 20.4.8, “Network device drivers and adapters” listed all relevant device drivers. This chapter describes the virtual connections that are available, as well as a detailed example of server consolidation using these virtual connections.
