Summary

We defined thin client as a piece of software that produces a remote user interface to a system, although we recognize that there are hardware thin clients, such as network computers. Our programmatic thin clients are useful at Elsolutions for remote administration, development of distributed applications, and giving task-oriented users a system interface that has, perhaps, a small footprint. Remote administration in particular can be a money-saver in easing the need to physically visit troubled machines.
