Summary

In a company any larger that Elsolutions, or even in a small company that has chosen to use Windows 2000 domains, the Windows dial-up solution provides broad flexibility and manageability. Because the RRAS service is so well integrated with the Windows 2000 domain, it makes an excellent choice for dial-up support. Elsolutions needs only a few dial-in connections and will deploy the simplistic Linux solution. This is one area where the features of the Windows domains would be quite useful, but the complexity and overhead of a Windows 2000 domain prevents the usage.
