Summary
We discussed a subset of Windows XP commands and Linux commands that are useful in carrying out administrative tasks at Elsolutions. These commands may be issued as standalone commands or combined into custom task-oriented scripts. We showed powerful GUI tools for performing manual administrative tasks on Linux and Windows 2000. Finally, we listed a set of periodic administrative tasks we need to carry out at Elsolutions, which may be useful in your shop. We shall mention more about administration in Chapter 12.
