Summary

Scripting is important to Windows and Linux, including Windows XP and Red Hat Linux 7.1. Linux typically has a higher proportion of script to compiled binary code compared to Windows. The ability to read, write, and modify scripts is important to the technical personnel of our Elsolutions enterprise.

Some scripting languages are more declarative than procedural. Script languages are often mixed, as is the case with HTML, XML, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, and so forth.
