Week 15: Giving and Getting Recommendations from Your Network
A recommendation is a testimonial, referral, or comment written by someone on LinkedIn to endorse another LinkedIn member. Obviously, recommendations are good to have—and in the Advanced People search you can even search for someone based on their recommendations.
Monday: Find Recommendations
When you receive a recommendation from one of your connections (alas, LinkedIn has now made it so that you can get and give recommendations only from first-level connections), LinkedIn will send a message to your inbox and Manage Recommendations page (found under the Profile tab of the main menu bar).
