Time Units

Time Units lists the time units of all time-related Lingo commands. See "Converting Time Units" later in this chapter. See Table 16-1 for possible values for some of the entries in Table 16-1. Refer to Chapter 15 and Chapter 16 in Director in a Nutshell for details on the commands that pertain to media elements. Note that the duration of member property has different units for SWA, digital video, and transition cast members.

Tip

Director often measures time in ticks. One tick equals 1/60th of a second.
