10.0  “10.0 As part of his project American Power, which examines America’s cultural investment in energy, Mitch Epstein made this picture about six weeks after Hurricane Katrina struck. This straight-on image is one of contradictions. The warm, soft light stands in stark juxtaposition to the detritus of tragedy flung on a bared tree like some kind of post-tempest Spanish moss.
